In the past we've seen people attacked by moose when they inisted on getting too close or wandered between a cow and her calf. Enjoy the animals, but from a safe distance.

Elk are where you find them. This one was near West Thumb geyser basin.
One good buffalo watching site is in the Hayden Valley.

Elk in the Madison river. The burnt hillside still bears the scars from the 1988 fires.
